The team at Duffey Southeast Construction has proudly served AT&T for 65 years. From data center expansions, retail centers and technical call centers and everything in between, we have helped AT&T’s Corporate Real Estate Design and Construction group with their construction needs across the Nation.
AT&T set their own supplier diversity goals, some of the most aggressive in the industry, aimed to reach 21.5% of their annual total spend with certified diverse businesses. The certified diverse businesses include a variety of types such as:
- Minority Business Enterprises
- Women Business Enterprises
- Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises
In 2015, AT&T spent $13.7 billion (24%) of their total spend with certified diverse supplies.
We recently received a letter from AT&T’s Corporate Real Estate Design and Construction group congratulating us on receiving the “AT&T Supplier Diversity Crystal Award” for exceeding their supplier diversity utilization goals in 2015. This award marks the 6th consecutive year that Duffey Southeast has met this standard.
A representative from AT&T stated, “On April 28, 2016, AT&T announced the winners of the 2015 Supplier Diversity Crystal Award to a select group of Prime Suppliers who attained and/or exceeded 21.5 percent diversity utilization in 2015. Duffey Southeast Construction was selected as a recipient of the award, which is exemplary of our commitment to collaborating with our customers, suppliers and the local communities alongside of AT&T. Notably, the award recognizes our performance which contributed to AT&T exceeding its diversity spend target for its Prime Supplier program.”
Later, AT&T Procurement Group hosted a special event to recognize us along with others suppliers meeting this goal on June 8th.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our team members that helped keep this focus throughout 2015. We are honored to be recognized with this prestigious award. We would also like to congratulate our client, AT&T for not only setting such an ambitious goal but for exceeding it.
Keep up the good work!
