A leading telecommunications company asked for Duffey Southeast to build out a 13,814 square foot of Mission Critical space to support a 14KW per cabinet heat load in a 153,579 square foot active data center. The project included replacement of the active 4000 A house service panel and installation of two new 1250 KW generators supported by new paralleling switchgear. The existing service and generator was transitioned to the new service and switchgear. Two 2000 automatic switchgear were installed to support two new 250 kVA modular UPS. Three new 200-ton chillers and cooling towers supported in-row refrigerant heat exchange. Also included was a 100-ton fan wall AHU to provide N+1 cooling. Clean agent fire protection system was installed for fire suppression. The project was completed ahead of schedule to meet client service to market with no loss of service.
