Duffey Southeast was direct awarded this project to construct and manage the installation of a Modular IT POD at an active Telecom Switch. The deployment consisted of clearing and site work to install storm drainage piping and concrete slabs which supported (3) pre-fabricated building sections that were offloaded and bolted into position. Duffey’s team managed all aspects of the POD delivery, crane coordination, unit placements, and system connections. Additional scope included utility power terminations that fed the active data center, (2) 500kw diesel generators, (2) 3-Source ATS units, a secured HVAC yard, site paving, and site security. The project closed with a full scope commissioning effort that included UPS, HVAC, Fire Suppression, and Generator testing to ensure all systems met client specification before final turn-over.
