In the heart of downtown Cedartown, a long-anticipated community vision is taking shape—and Duffey Southeast is proud to lead the construction efforts for what promises to be a transformative development: Lankford Corner.
This striking new event facility is more than just another project. For Duffey Southeast, it’s an opportunity to build something meaningful for the community and with the community.
Lankford Corner, named in honor of Jim and Jean Lankford for their long-standing commitment to downtown revitalization, will serve as a vibrant community hub and landmark for generations to come. At 6,000 square feet, the modern facility will host everything from weddings and reunions to corporate meetings and city events—providing a versatile space that truly reflects Cedartown’s spirit and hospitality.

Situated on South Main Street and backing up to the Silver Comet Trail, the site occupies a full acre and features a thoughtfully designed butterfly garden, event lawn, and ample paved parking. The building’s architectural design combines exposed timber, full-height glass, and brick to create a structure that feels both contemporary and rooted in place.
From the earliest stages of planning with Cevian Design Lab, this project has been a collaborative effort—something Duffey Southeast takes great pride in. Working closely with city leadership, the design team, and local stakeholders, our team has ensured that every detail—from the structure’s distinctive butterfly roofline to its flexible indoor-outdoor layout—supports the broader goals of community connection, economic development, and visual impact.
