Sandy Springs, GA | Sandy Springs Christian Church
The Whitmire Pavilion at Sandy Springs Christian Church is a 4,200-sf outdoor, open-air structure. It stands as a tribute to William Whitmire, a well-known Automotive pioneer, entrepreneur, and late member of the Church. It was constructed in 9 months on an active, occupied site with an Owner-driven schedule to accommodate daily activities. Our team’s largest challenge was keeping the site open to accommodate public vehicular and pedestrian traffic four times daily during preschool drop-off and pick-up times pausing the jobsite. The Church also requested no construction take place during the weekend and local codes restricted construction work hours between 7:30 am and 5 pm, requiring the use of short shifts, breaking every few hours for the kids. Our team delivered the project safely, on time and on budget.
